This is a lovely hotel, in a great location. We walked there from Waterloo, and we walked to the surrounding areas easily, such as Theatre Land, Hyde Park, Soho etc., so no need for taxis or public transport. We booked an Executive Room, which was very large and spacious, large bathroom with a full-sized bath, nice sofa, comfy (but firm) bed, lovely matching furniture set, and a good Hospitality tray. Bathroom toiletries were lovely and well stocked. Nice clean, white bed linen and good supply of towels. Lovely view from our room (301), with a lift to the top floor. Breakfast was good, we had the continental buffet, which had a great selection of pastries, cheeses, meats, cereals, fruit, and toast/jams, coffee, tea and juice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, and for the price, was good value for money for a London hotel.

The location was great for what we wanted out of this trip, just a 5-min to the Russell Square tube on the Piccadilly line. The hotel staff were all very friendly & helpful, we were able to store our luggage both on day of check in & check out with no problem. The room (Executive) was spacious & had all of the amenities you would need. Free upgrade as well which was a lovely bonus as it was a birthday trip. The temperature was easily controlled through radiators, rather than an ac panel. There was absolutely no noise at night so had 2 very peaceful nights of sleep, we did overlook the back rather than the street but the street was very quiet at night also.

Excellent service, very polite and professional made us feel very welcome. Very nice hotel and a fairly short walk to the show we were attending and, from the station so no need for the underground. Plenty of activities near by, restaurants etc. The room a really good size, and for this type of hotel and in London the price was fairly good (very top end of my budget and more than I'd normally pay but, it was our wedding anniversary. Nice breakfast but only had it as included in the room price (too expensive otherwise for a breakfast £24)

There was more to the continental breakfast than I had anticipated:) The location was great - within walking distance of Covent Garden and other central sights and easy to reach from the Tube - Holburn or Russell Square. When we first arrived a bit earlier than planned, the staff were very friendly in letting us drop off our bags before checking in.

The room was a good size and quite comfortable. We had a room that was below street level with windows and could see out onto the street (i.e. there was plenty of light and it did not feel below ground level). The bathroom was a good size and plenty of mirrors for getting ready including a full size mirror.
